Launched by the GPO in 1965 the Trim Phone (Tone Ringer Illuminated Model) was the first phone to replace the standard bell ringer with a modern electronic warbler tone. Our replica has all the charm of the original models, but features up-to-the-minute technology and can be plugged into a standard phone socket.
Based on the GPO's original 300 Series Bakelite telephone that was produced between 1937 and 1959. Early examples had a braided cord flex which were later replaced by plastic.
