Much of our collection is inspired by games that have been popular among families and children for hundreds of years. Games like Snakes & Ladders and Tiddlywinks have been played under different names in many countries for centuries whilst the Spacehopper and Marbles conjure up a time of innocence and simple fun.

The world famous Steiff bear, first manufactured in 1902, was the world's first toy bear with jointed arms and legs and remains popular with today’s children and serious collectors. Other soft toys and accessories are firm British favourites such as Paddington Bear and the charming characters created by Beatrix Potter.
