This year Past Times is hosting its own celebration, as it is 25 years since the company was founded in Oxfordshire, in 1986. Initially selling products by mail order, it opened its first shop in Oxford in June 1987. The rest is history, and today there are over 100 Past Times shops dotted around the country, mostly in market towns and cities, as well as a thriving website and catalogue business.
Past Times is now a household name, synonymous with quality products and unique gifts inspired by some of the key design eras in history, including the ever-popular Victorian era, Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Keeping up to date with current trends, Past Times is constantly looking for new inspiration with new collections like Vintage Britannia and a range of products inspired by nostalgic icons from the past, including Sooty & Sweep, Thomas Crapper, Wallace & Gromit and Mr. Men and Little Miss.
With quality and tradition at the forefront of our ethos, Past Times has commissioned an exclusive teddy bear to celebrate its 25th Anniversary, available online only. It has been beautifully handmade in Ironbridge by England's only existing teddy bear manufacturer, Merrythought, in a limited edition of only 250.
